i had to share this lovely mobile that i purchased from la artist kim baise. i adore it. check out her etsy shop- she makes them custom after each order. it has 5 little different types of homes: a yurt, an igloo, a teepee, an adobe and an airstream! mobile homes- get it? harhar. the painting in the background is by a good friend and artist, the elusive jordan rhoat.

i made this for one of my dear friends that cannot grow a beard.
he wants one however, so i tried giving it to him.
i carved out a rough stamp of his face and printed it with water based ink, and then painted in his growing beard on each one with gouache.
